Tri-Agency Consultation on the use of artificial intelligence in the development and review of research proposals
Federal research agencies are seeking feedback from the research community on related to the use of artificial intelligence in the development and review of research proposals.
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) developed the draft guidance based on the advice and recommendations of an of external experts.
The guidance is intended to clarify how existing agency policies apply to the use of artificial intelligence.
The deadline to on the draft guidance is Friday, June 14.
