Â鶹´«Ã½ email system is moving online
The university’s Information Technology (IT) Services will transition Â鶹´«Ã½ Microsoft Outlook email (@ontariotechu.ca) accounts to an online Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft Exchange Online) this summer. This transition is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to improve communication, enhance security, and streamline IT operations.
The two major benefits for users include:
- Enhanced accessibility: Access your email anytime, anywhere, and from any device with Internet connectivity. Whether you’re on campus, working from home, or travelling. Your email will always be within reach.
- Improved security: The platform offers advanced security features, including robust encryption, ensuring your information and Â鶹´«Ã½ data and communications remain secure and protected.
What is moving over?
- All PCs/Laptops/Macs
- Individual Â鶹´«Ã½ Outlook mailboxes (@ontariotechu.ca)
- Outlook distribution lists
- Outlook shared mailboxes
- Outlook meeting rooms
